I just came across this on the internet and felt the need to reach out to the family. Growing up in Pennsylvania my friends called me Dev as well. It is heart breaking to hear this and make any sense of it. Your fund and it's mission are excellent and hope some how his life and death change people for the better. My great grandfather is from County Tyrone and we just visited Ireland last summer with my boys, Peter and Patrick,21&19.The peace agreed to 1998 is certainly strained by something like this. Hope you can some how just remember the good times with Thomas. He has touched me. |

Hello...My team and I won the pub quiz at the Lansdowne on 14/9 and I just wanted to say what a fun night we had. We were honored to be able to participate in the benefit for Thomas's fund. As the mother of two young boys, I am amazed and inspired by your strength and courage to move forward after such a tragedy...as well as starting such a positive movement in your precious son's memory. Being from the U.S., I felt encouraged by the direction things were going here in the North, which is why we came back to my husband's hometown of Belfast to raise our children. Your work is a perfect example of this positive change for future generations and I would love to know more about how I can help to bring attention to Thomas's fund and the work you do.
