Belfast Community Safety Partnership together with the Belfast City Council Youth Forum and the Thomas Devlin Fund supported an initiative to recognise young people who are helping to make their communities safer. The Thomas Devlin Award was given to a project that addressed community safety issues through the arts. This award of £1000 was presented to the 'No Tomorrow' Drama Group based in West Belfast who made a video about the impact of car crime on their community. The presentation was held at Belfast Castle and was hosted by the biggest show in town Stephon Nolan. The 'No Tomorrow' Drama Group continues to work with young people in West Belfast using drama to deliver the message that car crime is 'not cool' and this award will help fund the projects they run.
